Celebrating our people
The people of HarbourVest are what makes us a great firm. And we want to celebrate our people through imagery. Not only does this bring us together as a company, but photos can also show the outside world what a great place HarbourVest is to work.
- Turn your phone so it is horizontal
- Use the ‘volume up’ button to snap photos
- Turn off live photo mode
- Turn off flash
- Set HDR to Auto (newer phone models do this automatically)
- Use portrait mode when applicable for pairs or small groups. Center subjects using the grid feature
- Tap the subject to make sure that is the focus of the photo
- If the subject is too dark or too bright, tap the screen, then drag up or down on the sun icon to adjust exposure

Tips for recording videos on your webcam
- Wear a solid, dark top
- Place the camera as eye-level as possible
- Have your talking points in front of you, if applicable
- If you need to re-record a sentence, take a 3-5 second pause and restart the sentence. Separate takes can be edited together
- If using an external microphone make sure it is out of the frame, you can tilt its head upward to make sure it catches your audio

- Open the Camera app

2. Set the recording button to "Take video"

3. Ensure your camera is set to “Logitech” and your video settings are as follows:


To check if your camera is set to Logitech, click the “Switch camera” button. The app will indicate “Logitech BRIO” briefly at the bottom of the Camera app screen.


4. Begin your recording by clicking the video camera button

5. Stop your recording by clicking the video camera button again 6. Your recorded video will be saved in your Pictures folder under Camera Roll
